This is a group for amateurs, professionals, or brand-new belly dancers in the East Bay Area. All skill levels, class postings, questions, discussion and performance postings definitely welcome! Our mission is the empowerment of women and girls through the message of the drum. We sponsor drumming workshops, concerts, and other events ~ mostly in the SF Bay Area. Our events give us an opportunity to get together to drum and dance, to learn new rhythms and approaches to music, and to make a place to enjoy the familiar. We have a lot of fun together. Most of our events are open to everyone, including children.
